Gender bender In Maryland

Maryland's Gender Blenders

It's been a rough two months for families in Maryland . The new legislature marched into Annapolis with an agenda for social change--and they're quickly chipping away at the contents. First, the Democrats introduced a same-sex "marriage," bill (which is being debated today on the Assembly floor). Now, the leadership is piling on with a "Gender Identity Anti-Discrimination" bill (HB 235), which tries to blur the lines between males and females by creating special rights for cross-dressers. FRC 's Peter Sprigg was at the Maryland Capitol today to testify against legislation that is similar to the "bathroom bills" that have cropped up in other parts of the country.
