Design4 is pleased to announce the national release of Made for Life, a short interview-based film it recently produced for the U.S. Conference of Catholic Bishops on the uniqueness of marriage as it relates to children.

Made for Life is the second film in the Marriage: Unique for a Reason series, and is told from the perspectives of actual married couples and single parents addressing the necessity of sexual differences in creating and fostering life. The film explores the individual strengths a mother and father each bring to the life of a child and how those strengths complement one other to form the best environment in which to raise a child.

"The video addresses a real gap today in public awareness, namely, the close connection between a culture of life and a culture that promotes and protects marriage. The two cannot be separated," said Bishop Salvatore Cordileone, chairman of the subcommittee for the promotion and defense of marriage.

Made for Life follows the successful 2010 release of Made for Each Other, a film produced by Design4, which explores the nature and importance of sexual difference in marriage.

"Clint Cline and the Design4 team's creativity and collaborative work ethic have been invaluable for the advancement of this series. I look forward to our continued work on this important project," said Andy Lichtenwalner, program specialist for the subcommittee for the promotion and defense of marriage.

When approached about filming the series, Design4 conducted nationwide focus groups, then developed messaging, scripting, direction and full line production including post-production editing, music, motion graphics and sound engineering for each video.
