Out of a Far Country
Dear Regina:

Please pray with us that those reading our book will clearly see the power of God's redemption and His call to holiness in every chapter, on every page. We believe that this can be a helpful resource for the Church for such a time as this. You can order it on Amazon, Barnes & Noble, Borders and Christian Book Distributors. Synopsis of Out of a Far Country
This memoir is a true account of God's seeking and saving two people who were lost (see Luke 19:10)—a mother who was so distraught she had decided to kill herself, and a son whose pursuit of pleasure, money, and success led to arrest, prison, and a life-threatening illness. Both mother and son hit rock bottom, and at different times they both turned to God. The changes in their lives are nothing short of miraculous. This evolving parallel narrative weaves together alternating chapters from two different perspectives—a prodigal son and a prodigal mom. Additionally, it's a radical call for all to find their identity in Christ and pursue holy sexuality. Kay Warren wrote the forward and there are endorsements from Chuck Colson, Joe Stowell, Duane Litfin, George Verwer, James MacDonald and others (click here for reviews). Included in this book is an eight week discussion guide encouraging Christians in all walks of life. Click here to watch the short video book trailer.
My health
My numbers have gradually dropped over the years and last month we decided to begin taking medication. My doctor prescribed Atripla which has possible neurological and renal (kidney) side effects. Fortunately, the side effects I experienced were minor. I get dizzy after taking them at night and feel a little foggy in the morning (which now gives me an excuse for not being a morning person!). I just went today for my blood tests so we are hoping that my CD4 count will rise to normal (800-1200) and my Viral Load will drop to undetectable!
Thanks!
The next few months are jam packed with activities so I really covet your prayers! If you have friends who may be interested in my updates, they may sign up here. Also, you can follow me on Twitter! Have a great day in the Lord!
Undeserving of His Grace,
