Less Than One Week Away - Understand What's At Stake

Maryland Marriage Alliance Newsletter
Dear MMA Supporter,

In less than a week, the election will be over.  The question that you must now ask yourself is, "Have I done my part to uphold marriage as a union between one man and one woman?"  The one thing that we need you to do right now is to make a contribution, so that in these final days, we will be able to share our radio ads with Maryland voters.

There are a number of issues to vote on, but none as important as Question 6.

Be sure to review the entire ballot to look for Question 6.  Above is a sample of how Question 6 will appear on the ballot after you cast your vote AGAINST Question Six.

In spite of the promises to protect religious liberties and individual rights, what the ballot question does not tell you is that if Question Six passes, religious organizations that receive state or federal funding are at great risk.  Read the language in the actual law below.

Already, we are seeing individual rights get trampled because of Question Six.  Dr. Angela McCaskill an administrator at Gallaudet University experienced the intolerance of Question 6 before it has even become law.  For merely signing the marriage petition to put Question 6 on the ballot for a vote, she was suspended from her job.  Dr. McCaskill has yet to be reinstated by Gallaudet.

It is critical that we have your support in sharing the importance of voting AGAINST Question Six.  Please take 3 minutes to make a leadership contribution of $75, $100, $250, $500 or $1000 today.

Together, we can make a difference.
