Going into the last full week before their states vote on the definition of marriage, organizers in Maine, Maryland, Minnesota and Washington are calling for volunteers - and they can use your help even if you don't live in their states:
Protect Marriage Maine needs volunteers to make phone calls from home, place pro-marriage signs and distribute literature encouraging Mainers to vote "No" on Question 1.
The Maryland Marriage Alliance is recruiting volunteers to cover every polling location on November 6, reminding voters to vote "against" Question 6; to sign up, email Chris (410-858-4030).
Minnesota for Marriage is organizing phone banks all week to remind their supporters to vote "Yes" on the marriage amendment; to sign up call (612) 213-2484 or email Crystal.
Preserve Marriage Washington is mobilizing volunteers in every corner of the state to call supporters of marriage and get out the vote to "Reject" R-74.
