The pro-homosexual agenda is getting another boost from the sympathetic Obama administration and its sycophants in Congress.  The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), designated as S.815, is now going to be reconsidered by Harry Reid’s Senate. 


This radical legislation potentially puts Christians on the wrong side of the law and is one of the most dangerous bills to religious freedom ever considered in Congress!  Please see my extremely important message below – Mat.   



The Employment Non-Discrimination Act (ENDA), slated for consideration in the Senate later this week, is anti-free speech, anti-religious freedom, and anti-business.  


ENDA is yet another job-killing measure being advanced by liberal “progressives” who are once again placing their radical agenda above the national interest.


Intended to give special protection to homosexuals and cross-dressers, the bill would further burden small businesses and muzzle those with a biblical worldview.


ENDA addresses an “individual’s actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity.” In the bill, “gender identity” is defined as “the gender-related identity, appearance, mannerisms, or other gender-related characteristics of an individual, with or without regard to the individual’s designated sex at birth.”


In other words, if an employer instructed a male employee he could not use the women’s restroom, that employer could be in violation of ENDA and face federal sanctions. 


++This outrageous bill confers “privileged class” status on homosexuals and other gender-benders!


ENDA states that an employer may not “limit, segregate, or classify the employees or applicants for employment of the employer in any way that would deprive or tend to deprive any individual of employment or otherwise adversely affect the status of the individual as an employee, because of such individual’s actual or perceived sexual orientation or gender identity.”


The implications of ENDA are outrageous and shocking. 


ENDA promotes “sexual orientation” to the same “protected class” status as race, creed, color, or national origin. It also grants cross-dressers and transsexuals the status of being in a protected class. 


Under ENDA, every school system, for instance, would be forbidden by law to restrict anyone from openly demonstrating homosexual or transsexual displays…or face severe discrimination charges enforced by the federal government.

Morally and legally, ENDA will force, under penalty of law, Christian, Jewish, or Islamic business owners to adopt a secular-humanist viewpoint, ignoring all matters surrounding sexual morality while making hiring and firing decisions.


ENDA would compel business owners with 15 or more employees to leave sincerely held religious beliefs at the workplace door and submit to the demands of the homosexual activist lobby.


If ENDA passes, Christian-owned, for-profit businesses employing more than 15 people will be forced to accept applications from individuals whose behavior is in violation of the owners’ religious tenets.


++The Obama administration is pushing hard for ENDA’s passage.


Barack Obama has aggressively used his presidential “bully pulpit” to promote the homosexual agenda – refusing to defend the Defense of Marriage Act, repealing the military’s “Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell” policy, and now pushing the Employment Non-Discrimination Act. 


Over the weekend, the President’s Organizing for Action (OFA) sent an email to their constituents calling on them to contact their senators to pass ENDA to “make some real progress.”   


Chai Feldblum, credited with writing the ENDA legislation, is President Obama’s first openly homosexual commissioner of the Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC). 


At its core, ENDA is an orchestrated effort to break down gender identity in our society.  Make no mistake: ENDA is intended to be the next nail in the coffin of American freedom!
