Homosexual Outrage over Linda Harvey's book

Mob tactics descend on youth book page
Please provide feedback: Should this book be on Amazon or not?

A personal message from Linda Harvey:

Well, that didn't take long.

I figured my new book, "Maybe He's Not Gay," would create a stir among Christians, but also among the homosexual media. Well, they wasted no time in launching attacks, saying it's "hateful," bigotry, will harm kids, etc. Imagine the place we are at in America that telling our kids heterosexuality is a good thing is supposedly harmful!

And these hysteria-generators dredged up every fabrication about Mission America that's ever been written, and then the pink mob descended on the book page on Amazon and without having read the book, wrote vicious, insulting reviews.

There are plenty of other places for this book to sell, so I asked the publisher to pull the book from Amazon for now. Some people are telling me I did the wrong thing. "No, don't give in to the 'gay' bullies!" say a couple of people. Several others are saying that so much business is done on Amazon that it simply must be there.

Then others are saying it was right to pull it, because there is a wisdom in not throwing pearls before swine.

I want to hear from you. What do you think? Just hit "Reply" and give me a thought or two.

This book deserves better than to be exposed to liars and bullies. However-- I do want it to be available to kids.

There's also the other factor, that I can't stand Amazon! The company donates to the legalization of same sex marriage. However, they do have the marketplace for books.

But I would like your input.

Maybe He's Not Gay: Another View on Homosexuality

New book for youth by Linda Harvey

We are pleased to announce a brand new book by Linda Harvey, especially for youth.

"How many books exist for teens about homosexuality? About the deception of the culture and the hope for every young person?" said Linda Harvey, president of Mission America. "I had trouble coming up with any titles, so I decided to write one myself. I truly hope you see its value."

As more and more young people announce, "I'm gay," (or they have friends who do), it's time to take a closer look. It's a profound declaration, a new civil right (they are told) and it's "who you are." But there's a problem. This is not anything close to the truth, and kids deserve the whole story.

Teens, college students, parents, youth group leaders and many others will appreciate the common sense insights and faith perspective of "Maybe He's Not Gay."
